NY Times Watch
QandO has the best post that I've seen about the latest controversy surrounding the NY Times:
The media has a responsibility to the public it serves and that is to exercise the proper due diligence when weighing whether to publish a story it has unearthed. The ethical questions surrounding this incident seem pretty clear. Is it in the best interest of the public to know about a legal secret program underway to identify and stop the flow of money to terrorists simply because the potential for abuse exists? Or is it in the best interest of the public that the program remain secret and allow it to continue to protect that very same public from those who would harm them? Also, there's a roundup at Pajamas Media.
